Hi, I'm Richard de Koekkoek, the creator of commodore-64.eu. I've been fascinated by the Commodore 64 for as long as I can remember. That passion eventually led me to build c-64.nl, a Dutch-language knowledge platform for C64 enthusiasts. But the C64 community is international, so I built this site to reach fans across Europe and beyond.
commodore-64.eu covers everything about the C64: history, models, games, software, hardware, legends and much more. Available in English, German, French and Spanish. The goal is to bring all that C64 knowledge together in one place, without having to search across dozens of different sites.
Everything here is written from genuine passion for the machine. The Commodore 64 is more than a computer. It shaped a generation, inspired millions and produced some of the most creative software, music and games ever made on a home computer. Sharing that story is exactly what this site is about. 😃 👍 🕹️
